Alejandro's early career started at the age of 6 when he was given a computer to play Prince of Persia ... and surprised himself when he used the "megahit" cheatcode.

Later, he came across the movie Hackers, starring Angelina Jolie and the other guy, who interpreted Zero Cool. That was the key moment, when he (mis)understood that in order to get with a beautiful women like Angelina he had to learn about Systems (he should have learned about acting instead).

At the early age of 17 he entered the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional (National Technology University) in his home country Argentina, to become one day an Information Systems Engineer.

While attending University, Alejandro learned C Programming when doing some projects at Operating Systems, where later he became a Teacher Assistant for three years. The projects involved C Programming in Unix platforms, using IPC as sockets and pipes, low level processes and threads synchronization, asynchronous streaming handling, signals, P2P modeling, etc. He just loved that.

As his University tutor, Adrian Breitburd, recognized Alejandro's overdevotion for C Programming, he threw the question down to him "why not in Java?". And that's when Alejandro turned to Java.

Since 2003 Alejandro has been working in Java related projects in well known companies such as Globant and Network Solutions. Thanks to that, he became experienced in the Java language, Java SE and EE, and related state-of-the-art technologies like Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and more.

When not using his laptop for programming, Alejandro loves riding his BMX for flatland, going snowboarding or just reading Cracked.com.

At present, he is still waiting for his Acid Burn.
